The works of Anapana (Anna Maria Martins Ferreira) are inspired in the mood, in joy, in the forms of real and imaginary nature. Funny Buildings, three-dimensional, “People form” forming people - in the form of oneself… Birds or people… Star people… Fish people… People anyway and color. The works evolve as time, the theme and the invisible green nature, in various media: screen, canvas and fabric, among others, as well as digital images in the freehand drawing equivalent to mouse.

Let us know a little more about his artistic career.

How and when you give your first contact with the Arts?

Woven photo by Bubby CostaFrom semper, first Music, always music, songwriter and poet.

Student Theo de Barros, Paulinho Nogueira, Vinicius de Moraes.

Diogo Pacheco, Inezita Barroso and other.

Always drawing, I take classes with Maria Célia Calmon.

And the course of time I had contact with various artists, that pushed me to everything that was painting, drawing, art. I have seen many pictures of everything, love it.

I started painting cloths, cotton, in Belem, because love sarongs, and the reason: to come back to painting and drawing, nothing better than fabric, just to work, dobro and look. Table takes a lot of space…!!!!!!

There is no place for me in my space. And I was painting, until one day comes Frans Krajcbeg in my life, in Belem, living in my house.

It was something indescribable friendship and respect that grew between us, and he told me a lot of myself and me, and one day beginning to paint a large tissue, it comes and see me painting and screams “Anna you look like a wall painter” (Polish-mad with that accent! I love), it was painting all, so I told him: “You can pick up the brush, I may even be, never painted!”, and painted and taught me the light!

After that came from, Carlito Maia, baptized me “ANAPANA” (because the scenes) when began my artistic life with name and all, many, many, I painted many tissues, to create a callus at the beginning of the column, then slowed down and gave me the screens, the digital, but never abandoned the tissue, only decreases the madness. This was 31 Direct years tissue.

I had sculpture classes with Calabrone, an incredible person, very much like to carve, not only do both, it also takes a huge space. Today I speak sculptures in fabric. Figures Objects. Acrylic on cotton, sewn and stuffed cotton.

In 1995, met Anísio Campos, designer, artist, designer of all, painter, sculptor, architect and stayed together until today, I learned a lot watching the work and helping as an assistant often, drawing car, drawing women, projects, sculptures, great art and live with it making art, to each his own, each in itself and art there taking care, then life became an art only in life, each, each. A Wonderful Life.

How did you find this gift?

Much work! Determination, amor to pintura, amor in Art, drawing and painting nestles the soul, grows the spirit, makes us closer to ourselves and to God! A lot of courage, much struggle, perseverance, much prayer, rezé, I prayed to all the saints, all deities, many spiritual parts, a lot of history along the way, and be alone, art is selfish, it requires you, calls you, you critique, you mocks… commands you… you glad… you done… to Assume… and assume your style… become her light !!!!! nothing more… Adam and Eve !!!!! And all eyes looking at you…!

What are your main influences?

Africa, France, Brazilian Indians, Brasil, India.

What materials do you use in your works?

Acrylic paint, ink pure silk, ink for synthetic silk, ink cotton, paraffin, tails, fasteners, graphic, Prints, scissors, lines, needles, cotton, iron, hair dryer. Paper various, lots and lots of brushes.

What is your creative process itself? What inspires you?

A peace, softness, silence, thoughts, situations, things I can never imagine, not esperar, suddenly! Nature lights, the sea dives, o sol, mountains, the wind, the moon, the nature of noises, the silence of the night! Brush and color.

When you started effectively to produce or create your works?

I started in Belem, where I moved in with a dear friend Luiz Vitor Marsala, who took me to the woods, Bethlehem forest, awesome paths in the woods Mojú, between, vermin, rivers, streams, rubber. Many Pedestrians, walked through the woods with them, slept in hammocks, rice meal, egg and salted meat (i do not) - Hunters, People give jungle, rats, jaguatiricas, monkeys… etc… (1977).

Art is an intellectual production exquisite, where emotions are embedded in the context of creation, but in art history, we see that many artists are derived from other, following technical and artistic movements through time, you own any model or influence of any artist? Who would be?

Several taught me how I should look, through their eyes. I studied very Miró, Kandinsky, Paul Klee. The birds came from my Black Bird, who lived with me 22 years, died when I was a widow… suffered a lot… great companion and friend of my friends… One day he came on screen, and fantasized of all birds, turned Woodpecker, canary, parrot, mari Taca, brought his world to me, today he lives here, inside me, and beside me, shaped People Bird.

What does art mean to you? If you were to summarize in a few words the meaning of Arts in your life…

Art is for her that I live I feel that I love, for it exists, nothing disturbs me, everything is pleasure, everything is life, the difficulty becomes, the pain is small, it pushes the responsibility forward, and makes us great in generosity!

What techniques do you use to express their ideas, feelings and perceptions about the world? (Whether it is through painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, photography… or uses several techniques in order to make a mix of different art forms).

Do not believe the art I express my ideas, but my feeling, my emotion, sometimes I digitally do a play on a humorous illustration, which leads through joy, a hope, but the idea of the world, to express I do not have anything, thought apenas and meditation… I suffer and I'm worried, i write.

Every artist has his mentor, that person whom you mirrored that encouraged and inspired you to follow this career you, going ahead and taking your dreams the other expression levels, who this person is and how it introduced you in the art world?

I had no mentor, always been like, painting grew and blossomed, gave me her, the cloth, Cangas, clothes… alone, no one.

I lived in Ilha Bela / São Paulo. Pituca an amazing person told me one day: “For you only art… is the only salvation… to live and have happiness, goes in search of you !!!!”

That was huge, entered and sprouted, love that my friend escorpiã, painter, this yes, expressed by painting what you think of the world! “Fantastically.”

When I entered the art world, which is a super responsibility never left, always walk with me full, and when not, walking next, but in my hand.

Do you have another job besides painting? You give lessons, lectures etc.?

I have several activities beyond that, all about art, some survival, artist, as it was for my mother: “Artist my daughter… starves”, why it took me so to take me, knowing through it, that artist and painter £, R$, it's difficult!!! What is true for some, then just came back to paint with 26 years. Before, worked, worked, worked, loved, I met a lot of people, and learned the truth of life! Hence changed everything. Long story.

I give painting classes in pure silk fabric, cotton etc.…

Divulge art, via the Internet.

Its major national and international exhibitions and their awards?

There were many, in many places, some important, other necessary for my way, created the “Entrepanos”, this event, installing a fabric, one day, decided to share with fellow artists “Cooperartista”, whose president was also the artist Antonio Peticov, we are many… and 9 entrepaños - the anniversary of São Paulo - Ibirapuera , participated 120 artists, crazy. Very tasty for everyone, see those rags full of art, flying on us, showing their presence, among the great, the masters and the new.

A beauty. And so I was doing many other events, as at City Hall, honored when the Carnation Revolution and Rita Alves invited “Entrepanos” from 20 artists, when I created - “Among streamers”, with respect to the Policy, beautiful.

Your plans for the future.

Continue the present…
