Cássia Mocellim Acosta

Self-taught Artist Cássia Mocellim Acosta, born in 1983 in the city of Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul.

She began her career at the age of eleven, doing exhibitions in the cities of Porto Alegre and Carlos Barbosa.

She worked as a teacher of drawing in the city of Caxias do Sul, where she graduated in Product Designer at the Faculty of Serra Gaúcha, creating designs for various companies in the region.

Her artworks have been exhibited in São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná and Buenos Aires, France and Italy. Winner of several awards of drawings and paintings, currently lives in Balneário Camboriú in Santa Catarina – Brasil.

LondonCássia awakened to the arts, from her first traces in kindergarten. Her artworks just happen simply due her interest in the world, and judges inevitable do not use her feelings on creations, which arise in the midst of everyday stimuli. During the process of creating, one word defines what the artist feels: "Satisfaction".

The product of her artwork is usually related to her earlier artworks, as her seeks to follow a line of an artistic pattern. At no time considered leaving acting with art, because she believes breathe "art".

The artist is attracted by artworks that comprise a mixture of contemporary art with figurative traces and considers academic art as the most marked her.
