GALERIES LAFAYETTE GETS WORKS AND INSTALLATIONS BY HANS-PETER FELDMANN

With the opening in 13 October, the shows on the German artist
is playing at the Galerie des Galeries until 21 January 2017

From 14 October and up 21 January 2017, the Galerie des Galeries-the space dedicated to the arts of Galeries Lafayette in Paris – hosts works of German artist Hans-Peter Feldamnn, one of the most influential names of his generation. Feldmann explores the mysteries of everyday life collecting images and varied objects. The exhibition dedicated to him resumes a set of relevant works and emblematic of their production. For about 50 year career the artist channel their emotions in their work and, as a voyeur, take off your daily life through your eyes sensitive.

Feldmann's works have been exhibited in the most important museums of the world, including the Serpentine Gallery (London, 2012), Solomon R. Guggenheim (New York, 2011) and Reina Sofia (Madrid, 2010), among others. In addition, his works are part of the collection of large collections, private and public, as Tate Modern (London), Museum of contemporary art of Barcelona and Centre Pompidou (Paris). Best known for creating facilities carefully designed from images of everyday life, Feldmann was born in 1941 in Düsseldorf, where he lives and works. After studying painting at the school of fine arts in Linz, broke into the world of art from 1960. He began working in 1968, producing the first of the small handmade books that would become a signature part of his work.

The vernissage of the exhibition will take place in 13 October, between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. The public can check the exhibition from the day 14 October, Tuesday – Saturday, from 11:00 to 7:00 pm. Free entry.
