Graffiti workshops and living pictures are design attractions for "grandparents and grandchildren" at Sesc

The Sesc Sorocaba project that aims to provide the experience of a different and enjoyable harmony between grandparents and grandchildren, seeking integration, joint creation and discoveries, continues in February with new attractions. All activities are free, open to the general public and take place between 2 and 26 February.

One of the novelties of the grandparents and grandchildren project this month is the ride to CineSec, who will come out on the day 3 February, at 8:00, SESC Sorocaba. Participants will meet one of the most traditional areas of cinema and art of São Paulo – CineSec. The space allows access to great movies of the Brazilian and world cinematography, prioritizing productions that do not find place in the traditional commercial distribution medium. With a collection of 156 titles, the CineSesc also has partnership with Brazil Programmer, project developed by the Cinemateca Brasileira and Ministry of culture, to enhance the national cinema and its artists.

The tour also includes a session of Brazilian animation "the boy and the world" (2013). Directed by Alê Abreu, the movie (done in the manner of silent film) is among the five nominated for best animated film Oscar Edition 2016, and shows a poor child whose father abandoned to go work somewhere far away.

Another new feature this month is the Graffiti Workshop, under the guidance of the visual artists and graffiti artists Will Fernandez and Michel Japs. The participants will know a little bit about the world of graffiti art, through presentations of the basic techniques, materials and practical experimentation. Classes take place in the days 16 and 19 February, the 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The third and newest programming is the workshop living pictures, that will happen on the day 19 February, at 3:0 pm. Taught by an educator and therapist Daniel Nunes, the course will cover techniques for growing plants and construction of beautiful and creative living pictures, that is, vertical gardens with frame. Her, grandparents and grandchildren can act together and feel more connected to nature.

Following watercolor painting workshop, the artist Joaquim Marques will present the basic techniques of artistic mode, its main materials and the possibilities of effects, as the transparency and luminosity, in the days 2,16 and 23 February, the 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The art of body percussion also continues as part of programming in February. Of CLA Member. Bards of the body, Sérgio Rocha, teach participants to join the techniques of body percussion, voice and movement to compose various rhythms and sequences. The objective is the development of the musical and rhythmic perception, that stimulates motor coordination and the bug in Group. The attraction, sequential, will be on Wednesdays, in the days 3, 17 and 24, the 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
