From 10 a 27 November, the Panamericana School of art and Design presents the exhibition "Looking for a Center ", composed of works of 50 students of the school photography course, curated by Rosely Nakagawa.
There hasn't been a theme set for the project. The curator gave freedom for students dared and experience the photographic records. In the selection of articles, in the devolutivas conducted with participants, Rosely stressed the importance of the meaning of photography while individual record or integrating a set of images. "The picture only takes place when it's on paper, as part of a speech ", says.
With more than 100 images, the show portrays the approach of the authors, with your personal universe. Family photos, typical locations of everyday life, animals, body parts and, are some of the features of the work. "Working with this quality of teachers and students was very pleasurable and Rico. Best of all is the experimentation, the opportunity to get what you are looking for ", reports Nakagawa about the selection process and mounting of the exhibition.
Looking for a Center has free entry and will be displayed until the day 27 November, Angelica headquarters school, from Monday to Friday, das 9h às 21h, and on Saturdays from 9:00 to 12:00.
