Camerata Antiqua presents educational concert for students of the municipal schools

The program "Feeding with music", created by the Camerata Antiqua of Curitiba with the goal of spreading among the students of municipal schools the language of classical music, has Santa Maria Chapel presentations this week (from 5 to 9 October). On Saturday, day 10, às 18h30, turns out the closure with the show open to the public.

This year the theme will be the Brazilian Songbook in the compositions of Heitor Villa-Lobos, and account for the third consecutive year with the scenographic direction of Mauricio Vogue and the participation of actors Regina Vogue, Renet Lyon Liz and Giovana. The songs were selected within the extensive work of Villa-Lobos, researched and inspired by the Brazilian folklore. The compositions on the popular children's Songbook are related to traditional themes “The Carnation fought with the rose”, “Falls-Falls Balloon”, “Sapo Jururu”, among others.

For the music Coordinator of the Cultural Foundation, Janete Andrade, the action was designed for the children's universe. “The project was created thinking the nearest child language, considering an exercise of citizenship for these children, now, have the opportunity to listen to a program from a group instrumental and vocal as the Camerata Antiqua of Curitiba held for them”, explains Janete.
