Singer and songwriter Monique Brito will present the show Daughter of the Sun in the Musical Ecarta, This Saturday, 6 March, at 18h. The show, virtual, will be broadcast on the Ecarta Foundation's YouTube channel (bit.ly/3dVv0ia).
The presentation seeks to translate the artist's literary-musical proposal, deeply connected to the feminine, to the elements of nature and the ancestry of an African matrix. The repertoire, Bittersweet (Monique Brito / Bruno Amaral), I Danced to Time, Black Love, Daughter of the Sun, Ode to care, Sailor, Passerby and Iris (Monique Brito), It's d’Oxum (Geronimo) and I want to put my block on the street (Sérgio Sampaio).
