Where did you born? And what is your academic training?

Was born in São Paulo, I graduated from the Faculty of fine arts of São Paulo.

How and when you give your first contact with the Arts?

Since I was a kid, already painted, but my first experience was with ceramic, but it wasn't professional, created parts for personal use.

How did you find this gift?

In my opinion the gift until there is, But if it is not improved it crumbles. Ever since I was little always dedicated myself in various craft activities, until I went to College. Then with the Diploma in hand and started teaching, until today.

What are your main influences?

At first my theme was with geometric shapes, used dry pastel. Then I was introducing other subjects along with the dry pastel. But the subject always with abstract and geometric shapes. With this junction the theme was becoming more figurative and contemporary asymmetric.

What materials do you use in your works?

Dry pastel, Nanquim, Acrylic, and sometimes also the oil paint and cutouts. As the need for labour.

What is your creative process itself? What inspires you?

What inspires me are the shapes and the line. I'm docking and cropping to build the image. I never know how it's going to end, It's always a surprise, at the same time always work "says" when ready. I feel a sense of complete, It is very interesting.

When you started effectively to produce or create your works?

It was in the year 1988, When I attended a salon by UNAP. I won a prize. Then I was also interviewed by the Gazette of Moema. It was very nice.

Art is an intellectual production exquisite, where emotions are embedded in the context of creation, but in art history, we see that many artists are derived from other, following technical and artistic movements through time, you own any model or influence of any artist? Who would be?

Yes, actually I've been through several influences from various artists. First I felt many similarities with the work of Picasso, But recently I believe is the Piet Modrian, because I use a lot of geometric shapes, but, not your colors.

What does art mean to you? If you were to summarize in a few words the meaning of Arts in your life…

That difficult question, Art is my passion don't know life without her. Give art class, I'm always studying and researching trends. I just love my job. My friends play saying they wanted to see me happy just give me a brush and a canvas.

What techniques do you use to express their ideas, feelings and perceptions about the world? (Whether it is through painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, photography… or uses several techniques in order to make a mix of different art forms).

Use various techniques doing a mix of material. The composition suffers the influence of the materials of the moment of creation and of the emotional. The collages I provide a more intimate perception of the world. I use in my work the dry Pastel, the Nanjing, acrylic paint and even oil paint.··.

Every artist has his mentor, that person whom you mirrored that encouraged and inspired you to follow this career you, going ahead and taking your dreams the other expression levels, who this person is and how it introduced you in the art world?

I haven't had much encouragement during my life, but currently two people really encouraged me to continue producing. One is my daughter, Cristiane Bornacina and the other is a friend of Sueli de Andrade.
