Against the Municipal Plan of the book debate, Reading, Literature and libraries
Happens next Monday (14) in the Palace of students the sectoral Conference on the Municipal Plan of the book, Reading, Literature and libraries (PMLLLB). Scheduled to happen from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the meeting will bring together professionals and users of libraries, educators, students, booksellers, editors, writers, reading measuring gauges, storytellers, read agents, area managers and other interested.
The public hearing aims to present, discuss and approve the draft PMLLLB, which will propose public policy guidelines for the area, in order to send it as a Bill to the City Council of Curitiba.
The PMLLLB seeks to outline the guidelines of public policy of the book, reading, literature and libraries, based on National and State Plans, from 4 strategic goals: 1) democratization of access; 2) promotion of reading and training of mediators; 3) institutional appreciation of reading and its symbolic value; 4) economy development of the book.
