Identity is a fundamental characteristic of human experience, it enables the human being to its constitution as a subject in the social world. The group exhibition Speech invites us to reflect on how we view ourselves and the acceptance of others regardless of binary determinations, free of charges and stereotypes. Sofitel Ipanema in July, receives multiple discourses on the universality of relations, identities and diversity in the culture of today's society.
"The recognition and appreciation of the subject of diversity, the promotion of gender equality and respect for sexual diversity are essential to the achievement of a fairer society. We want to contribute to the deconstruction and denaturalization of sexism and homophobia, stating that we all have a right to different possibilities of expression and experience. " Explains the exhibition's curator Luciane Valencia.
