Live recorded project, in SP, was divided into 3 parts
Exponent of samba from Rio de Janeiro, the group Rue continues the celebrations of 16 years of existence with the release of the album “Flowers in Life”, tribute to poet Cleber Augusto, author of classics like “A Amizade” (Cleber's, Djalma Falcão and Bicudo), one of the biggest successes of the Fundo de Quintal group, which Cleber Augusto was part of by 26 years.
Originally from Tia Zezé's bench, in the hose, Arruda adds performances on the main stages of the city of Rio de Janeiro, tickets for Bahia, Minas Gerais and São Paulo, released clips, CD e DVD.
After splitting the project tracks into 3 volumes, now Arruda brings it all together in a single album, that counts on the unprecedented “Thought transmission”, by Cleber and Neoci. In addition to tracks on music platforms, the release will feature live recorded videos, in September 2019, at Maria Zélia, in São Paulo. The production is by Alessandro Cardozo.
Arruda is formed by seven members. your drumming, one of the most praised in the carioca samba scene, is composed of Gustavo Palmito (hand chime and general percussion), Fabão Araújo (deaf), Marcelinho (so so), Anderson Popó (general percussion), It's Josy (voice and tambourine) and Armandinho do Cavaco (ukulele mandolin). The singer completes the team Maria Menezes. The artist is one of the greatest voices of the new generation of samba, winner of the New Talents Show Carioca da Gema and nominated for the 29° Brazilian Music Award with the ÉPreta Project.
