YICCA 2014 Young International Contest of Contemporary Art
A.p.s Moho Association is pleased to announce the official opening of the Yicca contest 2014.
The contest 2014 is the natural continuation of Yicca 2009, where the great success with over 1000 participants has prompted the association to expand its relations and cooperation with galleries and professionals.
It stands to reason that promotion of “our” talents within the art market is our main aim. The artists selected by the jury will have the possibilty to exhibit the submitted artwork in a exhibition space of an important european cith during November 2014.
From the final 12 artists participating in the exhibition will be announced first and second ranked who will win a prize of 3000 (three thousand/00) and 1000 (one thousand/00) euro.
The works of selected artist will be published on YICCA 2014 and the finalists of the competition will have the possibility to stay in city of the exhibition for free during the opening day.
The contest is open to all artists or groups of artists and professionals who are at least 18 years old.

DATES
- 19 April 2014: Beginning of subscriptions.
- 9 October 2014: Subscriptions deadline.
- 22 October 2014: Notification of winning works.
- 20 th November of 2014: Exhibition Lugano – YICCA 2014

Anyone who would like to receive an invitation for the inauguration of the exhibition is requested to apply for the e-mail: office@yicca.org
The inauguration will be accompanied by a buffet.

The deadline for submissions is set for 09 October 2014.
The registration requires payment of a fee of 30,00 EUR.
We expect to realize a final catalogue, that will be available for free during the exhibition.
