We talked with Fernando regarding these sales:
Fernando, how do you received this wonderful news:
Great joy for me, to know that two more artworks were purchased in New York. Glamour aside'm an artist and I live of my art – we must live and when someone I don't know and live far away from here desire my artwork that is invaluable.
Fernando, tell us a little about you and your art:
Grandson of Lithuanians and Lebanese, today with 52 years I graduated, degree in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of São Paulo in 1984.
With a history of 34 years of painting, living of my art professionally for almost 4 years only. The urban themes that I started in Sao Paulo of a descriptive way today continues, but in a more interpretive way.
If I have to say about my artwork without any label ready I could say that I seek a figurative that deconstructs at some point, something between the figurative and the abstract which results in a fairly vibrant paint at work of color, worked intensively.
In 2012, I was invited to join the group of the New Structuralists, a movement of art emerged in France founded in 2010 pelo pintor Beaudier.
In our compositions we seek the exploitation of all the emotions from the center of the canvas, a sense of construction and deconstruction.
Exposed with them for the first time in Grand Palais, in Paris in December of 2012.
My artworks have been acquired by collectors in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, United States and here in Brazil.
Participated in exhibitions in France, in Germany, in Portugal, United States, Japan and Brazil.
Currently I have a solo exhibition at Vintology, Sacarsdale – NY a beautiful and prestigious wine house where there have been two sales expanding the number of american collectors.
