A special Sunday, with exhibition and exchange of visual works,
lectures, music and food trucks

Panamericana holds on 20 September, from 10pm, at Greenland headquarters the 1º Artescambo, open and free event that welcomes visual artists and photographers, amateurs and professionals alike, so that they can exchange their work anonymously, using the ancestral form of commerce - to exchange one good for another, Without the need for money. Who wants to participate, should bring three images, copyright or personal collection, in size A4, em Fine Art. The purpose of the event is to foster the collecting and the appreciation for the image and to provide a different Sunday for the Paulistanos.

The works will be exhibited randomly and made available to be exchanged by those interested. An image bank will be formed with donations from professionals, to compose the initial collection, and will be assembled a clothesline with the images, No identification of the author, with only one number on the back. Three exchange will be held. The identity of the artists behind the work will only be revealed after the event, With the publication of the list on the Panamericana Blog.

Beyond this dynamic, There will be two lectures on the universe of the image, at 11:30, Taught by Paulo Lima, Director and Founder of Visual Space, and at 12 noon by the photographer, Cristiano Burmester, of the Abrafoto. To cheer up the present audience, Several shows with DJ, presentations with the band D.I. Blues, also take over the schedule. Several Food Trucks will be outside the school, Taking the most varied flavors, Like Peruvian food, gourmet hamburger, popsicle, juices and even craft beers.

“We want to wake up in the public the true value of the image, Without taking into account the size, the signature or monetary value of the work. Several images will be exposed, among them, Photos taken by renowned professionals and others by amateurs. The interesting thing will be that none of them will be identified. The exchange will be made due to the feeling that the image arouses in each person, not because it was made by someone known in the market ”, Say lipszyc.
