Musicians curitibanos do homage to João Nogueira

The show this Friday (7), in the theater of the Armory, It is dedicated to the compositions of John Nogueira, one of the great names of samba and Brazilian music. The tribute will be paid by Curitiba musicians Julião Boêmio and Fábio Silva, who put together a repertoire with the great hits of the Rio composer, such as, classics like “Clube do Samba” and “Samba Rubro Negro”.

All arrangements were created by Julião Boêmio, musician who already has a long career in MPB. He worked with musicians such as Paulinho da Viola, Luizinho 7 Strings, Nelson Sargento, Silvério Pontes and Altamiro. In 2003 won the award for best composition at the Festival of New Talents of the Banco do Brasil Cultural Circuit with “Ebubu Fulô”. In the same year he won the Saul Trumpet award, best instrumentalist of the year. He was a five-time winner of the Festival do Clube de Choro de Curitiba.

The idea of ​​paying tribute to the master, deceased in 2000, at the age of 59 years, appeared in a samba circle. Julião and Fábio Silva met and thought about getting together to put on a show exploring João Nogueira's compositions and partnerships. In addition to the voice of Fábio Silva and the cavaquinho of Julião Boêmio, the show features Vinícius Chamorro (steel guitar 7 strings), Marcela Zaheer (flutes), Fabinho Tam and Nego Joia (percussions). During the presentation, radio presenter Sérgio Silva narrates stories about the life and work of João Nogueira.
