Exhibition “Cores e Formas do Brasil” of Lucila Maia by Edmundo Cavalcanti
Happens in São Paulo at Espaço Cultural do Conjunto Nacional in Av. Paulista, 2073, the exhibition of 20 works about the trajectory of Lucila Maia.
Opening Day 08 June from 10h to 22h. The exhibition runs until the day 28 June from 10h to 22h. The artist will be every day to receive friends and interested in art.
The exhibition contains some drawings, paintings and photographs. Lucila makes use of various techniques and languages to develop her own aesthetic that values elements as: color; form; line; plan and textures in the relentless pursuit of a poetic composition and reflective about nature and archetypes. The viewer can see the path of the artist in her collection works and works of collectors who will be exhibited for the first time.

Lucilla was born in Porto Alegre – RS and live in São Paulo – SP. Makes art since childhood and founded Associação Cultural Constelação to bring arts to children from disadvantaged communities. Currently was selected by a gallery in France and her works will travel 18 countries. Participated in several individual and collective exhibitions, has published works in books, received awards and participated in trials in the language of cinema.
She graduated in fine arts by Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP), did Post Graduation in Psychopedagogist, Universidade São Judas Tadeu – São Paulo; Specialization in Art, Ecology and Sustainability, UNESP and UMAPAZ, São Paulo and Cinema, Video (screenplay, audio visual expression, production, photography, edição, general direction and art) at Escola Livre de Cinema e Vídeo, Santo André – São Paulo.
