Extension course: Introduction to studies of Sacred Literature
The Museum of sacred art promotes the extension course on the topic “Introduction to studies of Sacred Literature: the Holy Mystery is the poetic Word”.
The aim of the course is to bring the end to the universe of Sacred Literature, developing strategies of reading and discussion of themes and styles characteristic of this literary genre. It is hoped to develop the critical skills of participants compared to literary texts, enabling interaction that enlivens the text and allows the constant dialogue with contemporaneity. Seeks to deepen the experience of the Sacred Mystery of life, from the open literature, relating the different literary texts to the individual and contemporary daily life.
So simple, the course aims to form an audience of art and Literature readers, particularly, of Sacred Literature.
PROFESSOR
Prof. Dr. Jose Luis Landeira is professor of sacred art museum of São Paulo, graduated in Languages and Romance Literature at the University of Coimbra, master in Portuguese language (USP) and Ph.d. in language and Education (USP). His research has deepened relations between poetic language and transcendence.
