These strokes even seem to stories of fishermen, but are real. – Angela S.

Here very close there is a ground which today belongs to FIAT and before there was a nice villa, those that artists love, little windows barely painted wood, walls of an undefined white, well peeled, bricks on display, and in front of a garden made more randomly than by human care.

Reigned in this place a piece of a trunk, half rotted, full of fungi, and just by looking at it to took the painting material, place with the decadence that the painting like, multicolor by time.

I believe that one of the functions of the artist is to preserve by his way, by the music, literature or drawings, what time and memory will not retain, and, My dad and I ordered a license to the owner of the House and stayed there 2 days portraying what nature has shaped brushes.

And the bucolic little garden with no care had it him the shadow of a huge hose, and been faithful to what I saw.

In an Exhibition in the old National Hotel, people came to tell me:

— I liked all, but “house of the little lake is BEAUTIFUL”!

house of the little lake? … I had not painted anything like… and another came to praise, and other, and an American, and a Spanish, and I corrected, NO, NO, it is a garden, a GARDEN!

— But Angela has shades of blue in that grass! It is a little lake!

And so the Hose with House was sold to a “yankee” such as “The Lake House”!

PAINTINGS ARE LIKE CHILDREN, YOU HAVE TO LET IT BORN AND GROW UP A BIT TO GIVE THE NAME AS THE FACE!
