Brushstrokes Day-to-Day by Waldir Bronson
Hello! I know several funny stories involving Fine Arts, but one that was even more marked at the time of the Faculty at the University Braz Cubas in Mogi das Cruzes – SP.
I remember that in a work involving the search of an Artist, a lady began to show her work to the room saying her artist was an important name of Arts in Brazil and this was called Leiser Sigal, told the whole life of the artist saying that this came to Brazil, held the first exhibition of Modern Art in our country, the great painter Leiser Sigal.
When she finished we realized that it was not LEISER SIGAL but the Lithuanian painter living in Brazil Lasar Segall. What a wrong pronunciation of a name does.
