The first story that is told worldwide takes place in India, about a king who lost his son and the priests of the kingdom didn't know what else to do to end that sadness, until a Brahmin appears and presents the Chaturanga or, as we know today, the chess.

In "Alice in Wonderland", one of Lewis Carroll's most famous works, the character Alice is playing in a garden when, suddenly, sees a white rabbit running and decides to follow it. When running after the rabbit, she ends up falling into a hole that takes her to a world where nothing seems to make sense..

Let's live experiences from fiction

Let's live experiences from fiction? Let's live experiences from fiction. Let's live experiences from fiction. Let's live experiences from fiction.

For the exhibition Playmode, the books address topics such as virtual interaction, parallel realities, immersion, viewpoints, ancestral culture and the individual and collective construction. In this wordless book, Mirror, de Suzy Lee, the award-winning artist narrates in just two colors the infinite possibility of play that inhabits the minds of children in the most common everyday situations, how to see yourself in front of a mirror.

queen of colors, by Jutta Bauer

This is the story of a queen who depended on her subjects to come and go.. His subjects were colors, like yellow, red… Each one had its own characteristics and weaknesses. Some day, taken by the gray and the disharmony of its colors, managed to really perceive the quality of each of them.

Zoom, de Istvan Banyai

this provocative book, wordless, can be 'read’ both front to back, like backwards. The illustrations here invite us to realize that our ideas about anything are subject to change., depending on our point of view. On this amazing adventure, even philosophical, nothing is what it seems.

The Mouth of the Night, by Cristiano Wapichana and Graça Lima

O menino Kupai, main character of this story, very curious and inventive, tell a little about childhood, of the family, of the daily life and creativity of the Wapishana people. History shows how it is possible that there are other ways of reading the world and natural phenomena.

Square, de Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen

The book is about the Square and his friend, to Circle. In the story the authors narrate the attempt of the Square to make something as perfect as the shape of the Circle.. The interaction of the characters reveals that there are other possibilities beyond the idealized.

The The CCBB is a place for children takes place on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 am and 2 pm.

SMALL AND SMALL HANDS – EXPERIENCES FOR THE SMALL IN THE GALLERY

How can we talk about exhibits in a language for young children?? How to create moments that provide contact with the work, the watchful eye and experimentation in a meaningful way? Public entry is only allowed with proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and use of a mask., General Coordinator of CCBB Educativo, believes that it is possible to bring content and concepts present in the exhibitions in a fun way. The fun, precisely, it's not just entertainment: is loaded with meaning. Adapted to the needs of each age group, The activities are divided into two moments – “Tiny Hands”, for children 2 to 3 years and "Little Hands”, to the range of 3 to 6 years.

Tiny Hands

Early childhood is the time to experience and apprehend the world. Colors, forms, textures and sounds are some of the elements that awaken the experience of the little ones.

CCBB Educativo developed a sensory space for children from 2 to 3 years and his family to explore the world through the senses and experience.

The Little Hands – Playmode presents a reinterpretation of the traditional memory game. The purpose of the activity is to create a game in which the little visitor is encouraged to find the pair of textures by placing his hand inside a box., not knowing what's inside. When to find the pair, he removes the boxes from the furniture and will continue like this until he can identify all of them. It can be played individually or in pairs. He flipped brings reflections on how games excessively stimulate our visual field to the detriment of the other senses. By shifting memory from the visual field to the tactile field, provokes the audience to explore, also, your perception and memory of touch.

This action has other furniture for use by the adult audience with accessibility for wheelchair users.

The little hands happens on saturdays, às 11h. Already the Tiny Hands happens on sundays, às 11h.

Come assemble your letter and post it on social media with the hashtag #selftrump.

He flipped

In addition, the activity He flipped is a reinterpretation of the traditional memory game that encourages visitors to realize how much more traditional games demand our vision than the other senses. From this, the He flipped suggests the same dynamics of finding the pairs, but with a difference, is the touch the sense stimulated, touching what is inside the boxes in order to discover and relate the different textures.

What sensation is caused by the texture you touch? Is it rough or soft? Is it hot or cold? Can be played individually or in pairs, He flipped brings reflections on how games excessively stimulate our visual field to the detriment of the other senses. By shifting memory from the visual field to the tactile field, the public is provoked to explore, also, your perception and memory of touch.
