I bring here a reproduction of the material that came out in Folha de Búzios, that talks about the friend and curator, Angela Oliveira.
Exhibition brings together works by several Brazilian artists in a long season
Between the days 5 September 2015 and 3 January 2016, the Marés e Cores III exhibition takes place, at the N1 Gallery, in Buzios / RJ. Curated by cultural producer Ângela de Oliveira, from Itapetininga / SP, the show brings together 36 artists from all over Brazil and more than 60 works, between prints, fabrics, sculptures and art products. Vernissage occurs on the day 5, at 20hrs. According to Angela, the decision to extend the period of the exhibition came after four successful collective shows in this gallery, thus being able to take art to a larger number of people. “We will have many art options, techniques and styles to serve the region's stakeholders and tourists ”, comments.
“The works fit the Búzios style. With vivid color, modern and themed that refers to the exuberance of the nature of the place. Leaf, in my opinion, the most charming seaside resort in the country, in terms of elegance even. Many ocean liners dock on the coast bringing many foreigners ”, praises the healer.
This exhibition is a partnership with the sculptor Rodrigo Pedrosa, gallery owner, that presents, in his works, strong influence of academic rigor and contemporary art. The artist from Rio de Janeiro has also exhibited in several countries, receiving awards such as Best Sculpture, by the Latin American Autumn Salon, in São Paulo.
In total, 36 artists participate in the event.
