“VaraU” introduces a new look for literature

Sesc Sorocaba opens space for dialogue about poetry, text and music.

The Sesc Sorocaba promotes, on 12 November, Thursday, às 19h30, in the herbalists of comedoria, another edition of "VaraU", bi-monthly meeting of literature. During the activity, participants are introduced to a new literary look, developing the proposal that literature is not only in the words, but in all forms of expression. Who will participate in the meeting will be the journalist Juliana Simonetti, the visual artist Flavia Aguilera, and singer/songwriter and Mya Machado. The mediation will be on behalf of Xavier's Valiant, sociologist and expert on cultural animation.

Juliana Simonetti is a journalist, post-graduate degree in history and Art theories, has two books published: “Crossing: report on the hinterland of Guimarães Rosa”, journalistic and literary narrative on the motorcade of General Backcountry, and “POIESIS”, winner of the Annual Award of Literature in Sorocaba, best essay on fine arts.

Flávia Aguilera, visual artist, is the project initiator letters to Juliet, and Mya Machado, is singer, composer, musician and poet who develops intensively the four corners in which amalgam as an artist.

Xavier's Valiant is a sociologist, socio-cultural animation specialist responsible for Pedagogical political project of the Cultural education of the Department of culture of Sorocaba.
