The CCBB Educational Program - Art and Education daily promotes specific actions and planned statements, stimulating experiences, creation, research and reflection, as well as strengthening relations with the school community, educators, disabled people, non-governmental organizations, artists, social movements, professionals from the fields of art, culture and aimed at families. The program is intended to all public and dialogues with the exhibits and other agendas of the Centro Cultural Banco do Brazil.

On Saturday, day 1 February, to 10 hours, Teachers and educators are invited to attend the course transversalities to talk to the researcher Virgínia Kastrup about art and visual impairment.
According to the researcher, art can open paths and unusual perspectives for the visually impaired, either blind or low vision. This also applies to those who were born blind and to those who have come to lose sight early or late.
During the chat, Virginia will address how to understand the power of art to release the person beyond their current limits and answer specific questions, how to bring the scene other subjectivity updates blind or with low vision, issues that go beyond the disability. Virgínia Kastrup Graduated in Psychology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1979), master's degree in psychology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1984), PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Catholic University of São Paulo (1997) and postdoctoral fellow at the CNRS, Paris (2002) the CNAM, Paris (2010). He is currently Professor of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Languages are codes that we learn to communicate and talk about the world and, with your help, create communities. In time for awareness International Day Against Cancer in Children, to Infirmary of Laughter comes to CCBBs Rio clowns to duo Matilde and Juliet, together to raise public awareness, through a musical repertoire on health prevention, also reflecting on the importance of bringing art to hospital environments.
Infirmary of Laughter It is an extension project and research hospital clowns UNIRIO, created and coordinated by Prof. Dr.. Ana Achcar from 1998. Nurses-clowns work in dual, once a week, in pediatric facilities of the University Hospital Gaffrée & Guinle (GRAB), from the use of specific games and objects for performance in hospital. The program also offers the Laughing in Health: workshop theater and comic game for professionals and students of health to strengthen ties and dialogue between the hospital staff and the clowns. In addition, shows are created in the form of comic scenes and figures based on the clown look on the daily hospital (PalhaSOS and is expected). The clowns Matilde and Juliet are Leticia medella and Juliana Cardoso, respectively.

“SHUTTLE"Is anchored between three elements: the visual arts, Brazil and hammocks for sleeping. This is a show that brings out different ways to represent and present the sleep networks in reference to the construction of visuality and Brazilian identity.
The works both date back to different times in the history of art in the country, as question and deconstruct the imaginary arising from common sense about what would, conceptually, "Brazil", the "Brazilianness" and "Brazilian".
The exhibition comes from a doctoral research curator, who decided to transform scholarly work in art exhibition and share with the public part of the works he encountered along his four years of research. "SHUTTLE" has more than 300 works, with clipping between the sixteenth and twenty-first, approximately 141 artists, being 32 natives. The exhibition shuttle It is open to the public until the day 17 February 2019.
