Artist incorporates aquatic and carnivorous plants in large installations in the exhibition "Cologne", curated by Marcus Lontra Costa.

The Cultural Center Post in Sao Paulo opens on 22 August 2019, Thursday, to 16 hours, to show individual "Cologne", Artist paulistano haberdashery Teixeira. eight major facilities are displayed, performed with industrial materials, aquatic and carnivorous plants, as well as machines and transmission systems nutrient. "In his first major show in his hometown, Teixeira haberdashery part of a submerged world, from research conducted in the Amazon, where the movement of water, floods and tides, profoundly alter the landscape governed by the rhythm of floods and ebb tides. In this new series, submerged colonies create great visual power elements in which time is the ruler of his transformations ", Marcus writes.
Distributed on two floors, "Cologne" is opened by an installation of seven meters tall steel and polyester blanket. The upper floor houses the other facilities, all of them referring to the colony idea, so dear to the artist. In two of them, Haberdashery creates an aquatic biome from the use of water filtration and circulation systems with the use of nutrients to ensure growth of Amazonian aquatic species and also carnivorous.
The hybridity and research of unusual materials Armarinhos surprise visitors with the installation "Height of Illusion", in which four sailor stairs, those with a kind of safety cage, support the delicate and massive plot of a coppery blanket for industrial use.
