“South Looks“, by Alexandre Salgado, will be on display until 14 August
Between the days 16 of July and 14 August, to Marambaia House receives exposure “South Looks”, by photographer Alexandre Salgado. The exhibition features images taken by the artist during a vacation trip through Latin America..
The opening of the exhibition takes place at 16:30 on the day 16 July, with cocktail for guests and customers who book Sunset Marambaia, with musical presentation by Felipe Depoli and jazz trio. The works remain on display and available for purchase until 14 August, with free access upon reservation.
About Alexandre Salgado
Graduated in Visual Communication, worked with photojournalism and cinema in the first five years of his career, until you find your way to publicity. Created ArtluzStudio and started to serve the largest agencies in Brazil and abroad, with jobs for Coca Cola, Shell, Petrobras, Brahma, Itaú, Bradesco, Unilever, Toyota e Mercedes-Benz. Taught photography in industrial design and design courses at Faculdade da Cidade. He was awarded the Conrado Wessel Grand Prix for Photography and twice won the ABP Prize. (Brazilian Advertising Association). For ten years he has been investing in personal work. He held two exhibitions and now presents a little more of his work in the exhibition “Miradas del Sur”, at Casa Marambaia.

Emblematic property in Serra Fluminense, Fazenda Marambaia started in 2021 a new chapter of its rich history. The date marks the opening of Casa Marambaia, boutique hotel with only eight rooms in the mansion built in 1947 in the district of Correas. The interior project signed by the architectural firm Projeto Mix, curated by objects by Claudia Aguiar, by Maria Maria, prints elegance and high quality to the Casarão, preserving the aura of the property acquired by Luiz César Fernandes in the years 1980. converted into hotel, the property that was frequented by the high society of Rio and by great international celebrities now welcomes guests with personalized service and personalized attention, guaranteeing a unique stay in the region.
Also open to non-guests, the restaurant led by French chefs Roland Villard and David Mansaud promises to highlight ingredients grown by local producers. Vegetables and vegetables open the French-Brazilian inspired menu, in which the proteins are presented as coadjuvants scaled to complement vegetable flavors and textures.
