Sesc Sorocaba offers course and workshop Visual Arts in December

Attendants can learn drawing techniques with great professionals

Creativity for the Visual Arts will have space in December at Sesc Sorocaba. During the month, always on Saturdays and Sundays, the public may attend a course in watercolor and also an open workshop of scribbles. Both attractions are free.

The course "Watercolor: The figuration to abstraction ", taught by artist Joaquim Marques, will be held on 5, 12 and 19 of december, Saturdays, the 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the hall 2. In the activity, will be presented the main materials of watercolor, the basic techniques, the mixture of colors and special effects. The participant is invited to embark on a journey through time that starts in the 19 ends today, showing, through practical exercises, the transformation of the figuration to abstraction in painting in the last 200 years. The sequential activity, therefore, It is imperative that the participants attend the all day event.

Joaquim Marques was born in 1972 in Frankfurt (Germany). Between 1991 and 1995 He studied Painting at the school of art and Design Offenbach (Germany). Between 1995 and 1996 He attended the school of fine arts in Frankfurt, where he completed a degree in fine arts. Over the years of 2001 and 2002 developed an individual project in the Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual (Ar.Co), in Lisbon, in the area of painting, under the guidance of professor Manuel Castro Caldas. In 2013, moved to Sorocaba, where is professor at Nextart Brazil and is one of the coordinators of the project Urban Designers.

The illustrators Marcel Bartholo and Douglas Nogueira will promote the "open Workshop-free Designs", in the days 6 and 13 of december, Sundays, the 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, in the living area. In the activity, the public will be able to unleash creativity and creating drawings for free theme, getting these professional tips. The attraction does not require registration.

Marcel Bartholo has a postgraduate degree in Visual Arts from Senac and has worked as an illustrator and caricaturist since 2005. He had his works exhibited in several humor halls, especially for honorable mention in the international Humor exhibition of Belo Horizonte (MG).

Douglas Nogueira is an Illustrator and comic artist, with a degree in Design from the University of Sorocaba. He works with editorial illustrations, advertising, and has done design work for small and large companies, as the internal newspaper of Metso, Lenovo, among others.
