Sesc/RS Virtual Gallery: resignification of everyday objects is the theme of the exhibition “Desk’Artes”

from this wednesday (18/08), to Sesc/RS Virtual Gallery invites the audience to reflect on the supposed useful life of objects and subjects, in addition to criticism of capitalism, to the society of unbridled consumption, to the incessant production of garbage and the lack of concern with these disposals. The exhibition “Desk’Artes”, available on the website www.sesc-rs.com.br/galeriavirtual, brings six works by Marisa Seidel, from Santa Rosa. Wrapping objects like nail polish, organic and industrial sponges, hair, lamps and pieces of glass, the installations propose the redefinition of everyday objects that, when taken out of their utilitarian character, insert themselves in another space: the one of art.

Art teacher graduated from the Machado de Assis Educational Foundation (Fema), Marisa also has a specialization in Art and Education from Uniasselvi and in Art Therapy from Faveni (ES).
