Museum of sacred art exhibits paintings in watercolor with religious themes

The sacred art museum opens this Saturday (1º), às 10h, the show "Religare", bringing together works of religious subjects in watercolor technique. The works depict symbolic images of faith, liturgical images, the figure of Jesus Christ and characters in the history of the Church.

According to curator Anne Müller, the exhibition aims to reflection about the sacred and religious worship. "Rescue the importance of everyday life of society, contemplating values in addition to materialism as in force today. Crave, in this way, get the religious aspects in individual and social life of human being, regardless of religion and culture ", explains.

The watercolor a painting that uses water as a solvent and as a support role, features like particularity transparency and lightness of colors. The works were produced by 17 artists of the Group Acqua. The curator Ana Müller is an artist graduated from the school of music and fine arts of Paraná and watercolor teacher.
