SP-Arte reaches its 20th edition, consolidated as the largest fair in the sector in the southern hemisphere

From 3 to 7 April, the event will bring together more than 180 exhibitors between art galleries, design studios, publishers and cultural institutions at the Biennial Pavilion

In 2024, to SP–Arte celebrates two decades of existence and reaps the rewards of continuous work, reflecting the vigor that the national art market has achieved. With the next edition scheduled for 3 to 7 April, no The Bienal Pavilion, the fair has been a platform that boosts the market by boosting exchanges between galleries, artists, curators and researchers.

The fair's capacity for reinvention and the attention it pays to its visitors are demonstrated in initiatives such as expansion in the area of ​​design, the opening of Casa SP–Arte, partnerships with cultural institutions and the creation of an application that facilitates public interaction with the event.

Recognized as a key player in the development of the Brazilian artistic scene, the fair strengthens the country's presence in international cultural dialogue. With a diverse curation, ranging from established artists to new talents, SP–Arte confirms its role as a protagonist in the global art market when Brazil is experiencing a time of great cultural prominence, corroborated by the choice of Adriano Pedrosa – artistic director of Masp and mentor of the project Curatorial Laboratory within SP–Arte de 2011 to 2014 – as curator of the 60th Venice Biennale, in addition to the award of the Golden Lion, lifetime achievement, to the Italian-Brazilian artist Anna Maria Maiolino.

The fair’s curation features renowned Brazilian galleries such as Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel, Luis Strina, Mendes Wood DM, Millan, The Gentle Carioca, Nara Roesler, plus a new generation of galleries including Gomide&Co, Galatea, Map, Mitre, HOA, Verve, Central and Surface. It also includes major international galleries such as Continua (Italy), Herlitzka & Co (Argentina), On, Gallery of The Missions and Piero Atchugarry (Uruguay), as well as RGR (Mexico). No design, spaces such as Etel stand out, Rain Studio, Signature Home and ,ovo, plus an exhibition curated by Livia Debbane. The event is consolidated not only as a fair, but a cultural hub that elevates visual art and solidifies the image of São Paulo as an effervescent epicenter of culture, art and innovation. Where to eat and drink at the fair

The fair's official restaurants will be La Serena and Kitchin. Chandon, Blue Moon, Whispering Angel and Terrazas de Los Andes will have bars at the event, and to take a break, Café Orfeu and Le Pain Quotidien are good options. The waters will be beautiful.
