Celebration takes place throughout the month of March with new flagship museum, Sea of Music, aperture exposure and accessibility actions.

The Art Museum of the river-SEA, under the management of the Institute Odeon, completed 7 year on March 1, along with the city of Rio de Janeiro. The celebrations take place throughout the month and the activities have free entry. "In only 7 MAR years housed 64 exhibitions, received more than 3 million visitors and offered a thousand entirely free educational activities. To mark another anniversary we have prepared a diverse and inclusive programming, that goes beyond the exhibition and has the face of the museum, "says Marcelo Campos, chief curator of SEA.
The party begins next Saturday, day 7, with free entrance to the exhibition and launch of the new flag SEA. The work "will pass?”, Marcos Chaves, will lead to a work Gaucho Xadalu. The artist explores issues related to indigenous peoples since the beginning of his career and has works spread through the streets of Brazil and around the world representing ethnic and cultural icons.
On Friday, day 13, It happens Music Special SEA 7 SEA years, with free show Siba. O músico pernambucano apresenta pela primeira vez no Rio o show de seu último álbum, "Owl Changes", e a DJ TataOgan animates the audience with one set focused on the mixture of ancient languages, contemporary and futuristic.
On 21, Saturday, the exhibition will be again with free entry and the museum inaugurates the individual "Aline Motta: trip, Memory and water ". In shows, unprecedented in Rio de Janeiro, Niterói artist presents three video installations sequentially and immersive way. Also new are the actions of the Technology Center of SEA Assistive, created in 2019 with financial support from BNDES, which aims to produce innovative and exciting experiences in the field of accessibility technologies. Integrated by researchers, artists, educators and curators, the group developed new tactile models of the museum, audio description tools exhibition and videoguia in Brazilian Sign Language – Pounds. The models are exposed on the 5th floor of the administrative building and museum visits mediated by a tool that translates to pound the content of the exhibition will take place from the day 13.
Closing the anniversary month, MAR offers 28 March plus an extra day for free visits to exhibitions and receives a series of event activities March Delas, promoted by SESC.

The Art Museum of the river-SEA
An initiative of Prefeitura do Rio in partnership with Fundação Roberto Marinho, the sea has activities that involve collecting, registration, search, preservation and return of cultural property to the community. Proactive support space education and culture, the museum was born with a school - the School Look -, whose proposal is innovative museological: foster the development of an educational program of reference for actions in Brazil and abroad, combining art and education from the curatorial program that guides the institution.
The sea is managed by the Odeon, a social organization of culture. The museum has the Globe Group as maintainer, the Equinor as sponsor and master Itaú and IRB Brazil RE as sponsors through the Federal Law on Cultural Incentives.
The School of the look has the support of Icatu Seguros and Machado Meyer Lawyers via Federal Law on Cultural Incentives. The SEA also has the support of the State Government of Rio de Janeiro and realization of the Ministry of Citizenship and the Federal Government of Brazil, by Federal Law for Promotion of Culture.
