‘Bossa & Jass' features pictures of great Brazilian musicians, as Tom Jobim, Nara Leão, Chico Buarque, Roberto Menescal, João Donato, among others

From the next day 23 April, Holiday St. George's Day, photographer and journalist Cristina Granato opens the Imperator - Cultural Center João Nogueira show 'Bossa & Jazz’, which includes only records singers, composers and musicians of bossa nova and Brazilian jazz. Names like Roberto Menescal, João Donato, Nara Leão, Joyce, Carlos Lyra, Johnny Alf, Leny Andrade, Paulo Moura, Baden Powell, Oscar Castro Neves, Paulo Moura, Tom Jobim, Wanda Sá, among others are among the celebrities recorded through the sensitive eye of the photographer.

With solid successful career in cultural journalism, Cristina Granato underwent several essays, as The Globe, Jornal do Brazil and The Day, plus magazines, sites and fashion blogs and behavior. In 2011, He released his first photography book "A look at Brazilian popular music", with 360 photos that tell of the history of MPB. Its rich collection, formed during 35 years of his professional life, They add up to a million images on culture. In shows, they are selected 33 photos of artists who contributed to the success and the memory of bossa nova and jazz as unique expressions of Brazilian music.
