Your creative process starts with your emotions and perceptions, pass through the spatula and are reborn on the screens, unlikely to be deciphered with words but full of messages and ideas, that enchant and converse with the observer.

the plastic artist of 24 years already has a strong curriculum, with exhibitions even abroad, as New York, Rome, Finland, Paris (Louvre) and Brussels. He also has works in galleries and private collections..

“art for me, it's expression. Is to let the feelings speak for us. We live in a world that fears and runs away from vulnerability, but it's through her, and only hers, that we can connect deeply with other human beings. Art is a shared vulnerability, can happen in different ways”, explains Maria Eduarda Boabaid, that promises to be the new promise of abstract art.

The artist through the eyes of sister Manoella Boabaid

“Maria Eduarda, Little big woman, that is discovered through its visceral colors, reais, intense and deep. just like her, so young and so dedicated to its internal expansion processes. That dives deep into your emotions, and travels... Have you understood that the biggest trip that happens is inside... Your art is the extension of that... Anyone who knows it knows it, feel. transcend together. You have to have eyes to not only see, but to see. Her intrinsic invitation, comes as a challenge: Do you know how to look slowly? Present. Here & now. What do these colors show you, provoke, reveal? It's subjective... But only those who allow themselves to feel the wild inner universe, with all its nuances of emotions & delusions, can actually experience and be part of what she, Maria Eduarda came to bring it to the material plane.”

“SPILL AND BURN” – by Maria Eduarda Boabaid

‘Days passed and time began to gain attention. attention to what was
subtle, attention to the details.
the dangers of feeling took me away from my center, and it was that distance
that I could perceive, give a lap to all the emotions that live inside…
to sense, doer, to respect, die to be reborn.
spill every little bit and let burn what was only occupying
space.
spilled on everything I was, everything I thought it was and what I thought it was
knew.
I let it all burn… because it is with this act of love, where we
manages to open the way to feel it at its extreme and understand our
soul, thus being able to transmute.
in this exhibition I was able to re-signify.
paintings that reflect an infinity of delusions. cry, ri, I remembered, It hurts,
I understood, I surrendered and only then did I feel alive again. diving
in this immensity that I am and transforming all these people that I shelter
in the chest.’

About Maria Eduarda Boabaid

My name is Maria Eduarda Boabaid, I have 24 years and I was born on an island in the south of Brazil, Florianópolis. Since I was little I always found myself between colors, pencils and drawings.

I formally tried to manifest my art in Fashion Design and Graphic Design, until in 2019, my grandmother, Ambassador Irene Marcal Boabaid, me
gave all your paint supplies. That's when the artist in me felt understood.. Finally, I found my true passion in life:
transform my emotions and experiences into art.

Feelings are very lonely, confusing and often scary. with the paint, I feel like I can connect with myself and my emotions, and this is my creative process. It is through painting that I try to decipher the feelings that I cannot put into words. Painting is my cure. art for me, it's expression. It's letting our feelings speak for us.

We live in a world that fears and runs away from vulnerability, but it's through her, and only hers, that we can connect deeply with other human beings. Art is a shared vulnerability, can happen in different ways. on top of everything, art is not something to be explained or rationalized, she lives in a very subtle place and I allow myself to enter this mystery in which she takes me.

I'm just an instrument to channel it. Art, for me, and delivery.

About Tartaglia Arte

Tartaglia Arte was founded in 1950 as a painting studio by artist Piero Tartaglia, then known as Piery. after a few years, created a point of reference and cultural meeting with other artists and young talents where, under the guidance of the Master, developed their personal style. Tartaglia's overwhelming passion for pictorial expression with bursts of pure color and violent contrasts that make the canvas come alive, gave life to the School of Disgregationism. He later founded the Galleries, for permanent exhibition of their work and those of their students, and that today are directed by his son Riccardo.

The love for art and a broad cultural vision are the peculiarities of this great artist., and represent their moral and spiritual heritage. Heritage that continues to be represented by Riccardo Tartaglia, who works with the same seriousness and tenacity in the propagation of art, through international exhibitions and events. But all with the signature of Riccardo Tartaglia and Regina Nobrez (Member of the Academy of Fine Arts of Rio de Janeiro and Cultural Ambassador with Honoris Causa, by the Legislative Assembly of Santa Catarina – Honor of the Art of Florianopolis), which confers a certificate of credibility and creative sensitivity.
