ARTE4 hosts the TRANSITORIEDADE exhibition by visual artist Giancarlo Diniz from Minas Gerais.
The artist reflects on how understanding transience can help us value each moment and embrace change as an inevitable part of life.. She reminds us of the importance of appreciating the present., because everything is in constant transformation.
By embracing transience, we can find beauty and meaning, even in the most ephemeral things, enjoying the journey instead of just getting attached to the end results.
“What I create is much more to awaken reactions in the spectator than to register my reactions when creating the work.. My jobs are like children I just gave birth to, more than, from there, go your way. If I baptize them Peter, there is no guarantee that they will always be stones. They have their free will and, like me, they change over time.” – says Giancarlo.
The artist has participated in exhibitions in Ouro Preto-MG, Niterói-RJ and virtual at Contemporâneos Galeria. The individual show is curated by Lu Valença and edited by Patrícia Penna.
At the opening that will take place on the day 14 July (Friday) from 7 pm to 10 pm, the SIDEWALK WITH ART will also be inaugurated with painting by Laura Vivacqua and Lu Valença.

The idea is that, periodically, sidewalk art is renewed with the work of guest artists. On Saturday (15 July) from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, the CUSTOMIZATION WITH ART workshop will take place, guided by Laura Vivacqua.
