9- What does art mean to you? If you were to summarize in a few words the meaning of Arts in your life…

The art is a form of expression from the beginning until today, here are several moves. Today I realize that artists in general are concerned with presenting the beautiful and not a form of expression. Because there are many countries where freedom, equality and peace are at risk and one way to express all of this is through art.

I'm not the right person to opine on this. Many struggle to reach a prominent place. But to stand out you have to do something very different, as Eduardo Kobra and the Twins.

A walk through the colors and shapes in the paintings of Helenita Teixeira by Ana Mondini

Ana Mondini is an Art Critic, PhD in Philosophy, Visual Artist, graduated from the School of Music and Arts of Paraná and Creator of the “Virtual Gallery – Philosophy & Art” and the YouTube channel “Interview with Artists & Related ”.

The artist Helenita Teixeira goes through several poetics in his paintings, going from abstraction with black and white lines to colorful tribal portraits.

In relation to abstractions, the artist offers interesting moves: through curved lines, presents the spiral movement, and, by using straight lines, puts perception in an ambivalent situation: while the lines build the figures, nay, The houses, they are in a position to deconstruct those same images.

In relation to the portraits, to artist brings the intimate atmosphere through the use of black and white, corroborated by the affective symbology of the rose. Already in the portraits of members of the African tribal community, the pictorial character is emphasized by the objects themselves or colored adornments on the bodies, who, in the Painting, they also manifest themselves as beautiful paintings., emphasizing the great beauty and royalty of these individuals.

Whether by the sensations arising from the portraits, either by abstraction, Helenita Teixeira creates an atmosphere whose mix of shapes and colors (white, Brown, yellow, etc..), at the same time that it highlights the perfection intrinsic to each one of them, shows that obvious that must always be remembered, namely, that it is precisely the relationships between the multiple colors and existing shapes that enrich and beautify the world of perceptions.
